BOLOGNA CHARTER
There is a lot of discussion of the role of universities in our society right now, and examination of the founding mission of these institutions is right and good. For example, Harvard comes from the Puritans who were a sect of the Calvinists who in turn broke with Luther who in turn broke with the Pope. But centuries before these events, Barbarossa wrote a brief charter for Bologna which was a Law School at the time (law and divinity not being so sundered as now.)
Rosario Livatino
is the first judge to be considered for sainthood in modern times, is this accurate. His beatification occured on the anniversary of the day Aldo Moro was killed, May 9, 1978. When Shakespeare wrote, "First, let's kill all the lawyers" he surely was not advocating for the immediate assassination of the pious and principalled Rosario. Yet, there is a doctrine of unintended consequences. This is why in our study of truth, we need to know the history of the Constitution, Barbarossa's Chater of Bologna, etc.
Recommend a study of SCOTUS, follow constitutional challenges and figure out where one stands on the issues.
Recommend a thorough study of eavesdropping, not only in the Samwise/Sauron sense, but in its historical development, its history, and present day situation. SCOTUS and the Tuggle case. Brennan law center amicus brief.
